Cthulhu Saves The World and Breath of Death VII
Hey everyone :D
I was cruising Steam the other night, and found something that caught my eye. Yes, another cheap game which is $3. But wait, what is this? 2 games for $3? There must be a reason for them to be this cheap!
So, I looked at them, and to my surprise, it was an RPG. A classic RPG. The tiles, the pixels. I was in awe! I had to but them straight away.
I have to admit, I have not played Cthulhu Saves The World as it seems as it has somewhat better detail then Breath of Death VII. But I have played 70 minutes or so of BoDVII. So far, it has been an amazing play through and I couldn't be happier for paying only $3 for 2 such well done games (Of course, assuming CSTW is as good as BoDVII)
I highly recommend this package (Again, $3!!!) and will keep you up to date on my thoughts.

Windosill
Hey everyone,
So I purchased Windosill today. It's a small game (made with flash) and it's only $3 on Steam. It's a puzzler and it seems to involve some interesting physics. I will admit, it was great fun (kind of trippy too...) but it is WAYYYYY too short! I was kind of disappointed that I finished it so fast (In about 20 minutes?) But, then again, I guess it was only $3.
At a minimum, however, I believe it is worth checking out!

Killing Floor
Hey everyone,
I don't know how many of you have heard of a game called 'Killing Floor', but it is an awesome game. Basically, you have guns, you can buy better guns, but not too soon. You must complete waves (or rounds) in order to have access to the trader (who sells guns) What's in the waves, you may ask? Well, I can tell you, zombies. That's right it's a zombie game. Now, I, for one, love zombies. To death (Bad pun intended?) So that just tops this game off for me. Blasting heads off all types of zombies :D! But let me introduce you to 'Zed time'. Zed time is something which can be achieved, so to speak. By getting headshots, you have a chance that you will enter Zed time, where everything will slow down and become one epic battle. However, Zed time only lasts for a short amount of time. The game does have its fair share of bugs and minor glitches, but they are something small that can be easily unnoticed, and should not stop you from getting this game if you want it!
Killing Floor is, seriously, so amazing, especially when playing Co-op with a friend or even just some randoms online! It's definitely worth checking out! It's on Steam, and it's only $20.00!

Minecraft-Like Game
Ever wondered what Minecraft would be if it wasn't so blocky?
I know I have, and it turns out that there is a game just like this.
Yeahp, that's right, Lords of Uberdark. A strange name, sure, yet also something that could go a long way. The game is currently in pre-alpha and looks kind of dodgy at the moment. However, he is kindly asking for some support so that he can continue with the game. If he can gather the support, I know that him and his game will go really far, and I wish him all the luck in the world.
I am excited for this game, and I know I will pledge $10 in order to get a registered copy.
If you want to help, here is the website:

Starting Out
Hello everyone.
Before I start, I would like to say that this is my first blog ever, so please excuse any silly mistakes.
This blog will concentrate on my gaming experiences, in which I will be talking about pros and cons of certain games (Almost like a review)
The first game I will be discussing is an indie game called Amnesia: The Dark Descent. The developers (Frictional Games) have done an AMAZING job at creating an eery and frightening game. The game is based around your character having amnesia (as the title would suggest). Your character (Daniel) has written a note to himself, describing what needs to be done. However, a lot of background information is missing. You then set out, alone, through Brennenburg Castle, doing as you told yourself. As you walk through the castle, you do not have any weapons. You must hide from your enemies, eliminating any light source. But doing so will send Daniel into a panic-state, making his sanity slowly drop. Paranormal sightings and visual horrors will also make Daniel's sanity drop.
Amnesia is a game in which you have to immerse yourself, otherwise you will not have as good as an experience as you should. By using sound and visual cues, the developers will make you tense, stressed and worried as to what will happen next.
I found this game to be one of the best horror games I have ever played, and strongly recommend it to anyone after a fright.
